Berkshire Bank, Latham, NY, completed in 14 weeks!

Berkshire Bank, Latham, New YorkBerkshire Bank in Latham, New York opened for business on December 28, 2010, only 14 weeks after the start of construction.  This is the fourth bank that Allegrone Construction Co. has either built or renovated for Berkshire Bank in the New York state area.

Allegrone Headquarters in Lenox, MA

Check out what the Berkshire Eagle is saying about the new Allegrone Headquarters in Lenox, MA. The Allegrone Office Park, which is LEED Registered, is scheduled for completion at the end of 2011. Not only is this an exciting project for Allegrone, but it's also an exciting project for the town. Allegrone Office Park will seek LEED Platinum ratings upon completion.  

Stockbridge Bowl New Home Construction

Allegrone Construction has completed demolition at the residence on Stockbridge BowView of the lake from the new residence currently underway.l. The well is installed and the foundation for this new home is scheduled to start next week.  Completion is slated for May of next year.

Williams College Dining Renovations

Allegrone Construction recently completed the dining services renovations for Williams Williams College Dining RenovationsCollege in Williamstown, MA in (4) of their dining spaces.  Allegrone’s scope of work included new cabinetry and granite countertops in all four spaces, new commercial kitchen equipment, new flooring and painting, new electrical, HVAC, and plumbing work as was required for the new equipment.  Allegrone was awarded the project after competitive bid in mid June and had to complete the (4) projects by August 20, 2010, which was achieved.  All facilities re-opened for the students on time as scheduled.

Williams College Oakley Center

Allegrone Construction completed the exterior facelift at the Oakley Center at WillOakley Center at Williams Collegeiams College in Williamstown, MA.  This scope of work included a new handicap accessible ramp, new copper flashings on the slate roof, re-painting of the entire outside, replacement of the historic railing assemblies with new azek replicated pieces, and replacement of the south terrace with stamped concrete.

Bostwick Gardens paves the way for new affordable, modern senior housing in Great Barrington, MA. The project involved renovation and upgrades to the existing 29 unit apartment building. The new construction phase was performed simultaneously and included the addition of a new 31 unit, 3 story building on the adjoining lot. The new combined facility includes a game room, an exercise room, a large community kitchen and a community garden.

89 South Senior Living Community Pittsfield, MA.

Originally built in 1888 as the Berkshire County Home for Aged Women, the design entailed restoring and replicating prominent historic details, which pay homage to the Richardsonian Romanesque architecture, while incorporating a new transitional style that boasts the comforts of multifamily living in the modern age.  The program houses 18 residential units along with shared amenities including dining cafe, reading and fitness and educational uses.
